As of this article, Covid-19 is the reason people are stuck at home – hence the reason we’re looking at sexy things to do when you’re stuck inside. But, there are many reasons you might have to stay inside – tight budgets, recovering from too much social interaction, neglecting (or just lack of) quality time with your partner, even the lack of some much-needed ALONE time.
Here are some things you can do when stuck inside (voluntarily or not).
REMEMBER: You can make these as sexy, silly, or as bonding as you wish. They don’t have to be done exactly as suggested, and most of them can also be done alone! Take them and twist them to suit your needs.
BAKE EROTIC STUFF
You’ll usually hear someone suggest baking. It’s a fun, simple activity. You can also just cook something and make it look dirty (plenty of ideas online), but decorating your cakes, cookies, and cupcakes can be extra entertaining.
WATCH A MOVIE
I had to replace my television, and I asked my boyfriend for a suggestion on what to watch first on it – or even a game we could play. The first words out of his mouth? Porn. Heehee. That being said, if the hard-core stuff isn’t your taste, there’s plenty of softcore stuff out there. Or, just watch a regular movie with steamy scenes you might like.
PLAY A BOARD GAME
I’ve written an entire article on this already, so I will just say that you can take any board game and twist it to make it sexy or really raunchy. No need to buy a dedicated adult game (if you don’t want to).
MIX DIRTY DRINKS
If cooking isn’t your forte, maybe dip into your booze stash and try your hand at some dirty cocktails.
LISTEN TO A PODCAST
There are tons of sexual health/education, BDSM tips, anything you can imagine.
HAVE AN INDOOR PICNIC
Feeding each other stuff can be sexy (and silly-sexy), but you can go the extra mile by making everything with aphrodisiacs (or however many your fridge supplies allow).
TASTE WINE
If you have a bottle lying around that you’ve been meaning to crack open, now is the time. Set a romantic atmosphere (again, it can be with a partner or alone) and pour a glass or three. There are also wine tasting tips online for free.
READ AN EROTIC BOOK
You won’t be pressed for choice in this department. There are also a few ways to tackle this – you can each read a chapter and talk about what parts you like most, you can bookmark things you want to try, or you can change it to an audiobook and just chill.
HAVE A PHOTOSHOOT
Assuming you are at this point of trust with your partner, why not try a boudoir shoot. Put on that nice lingerie that might not see as much action as you wish and then let your partner snap away. After, pic the top ones you love. If you’re nervous, you can keep the pics of you on only your phone.
DO DIFFERENT YOGA
Yeah, you can make nearly anything sexy or dirty. There’s already couples’ yoga, but why not make it naked yoga?
REVISIT YOUR SEX TOYS
Your toys might miss you. Why not give them some attention? And I don’t only mean using them, take a day to top up your rechargeables (they need to be powered up every 6 months if you’re not using them), give everything a sanitization, and possibly toss the ones that aren’t up to snuff.
WAKE UP WITH ORAL
Wake up your lover with oral sex. If you are on your own, there are some sex toys that you can program to buzz on with an alarm.
HAVE A LONG BATH
I’m jealous of people who can do this. My current place doesn’t have a tub. Your libido can suffer with stress and a nice long bath can melt away the bad feelings (and muscle tension). I used to have “goddess” moments – a glass of wine, candles, nice music, essential oils or a golden bath bomb from Lush. Having one with a partner (if your bath is big enough) can be extra sexy.
HAVE/GIVE A MASSAGE
Do I really have to explain this one? But if you’re not sure how to go about a sensual (or relaxing) massage, there are plenty of online tips and videos.
DON’T HAVE SEX
Sometimes the pressure to have sex can actually damage your libido. You can be romantic and sensual without intercourse or other sexual acts. The tease can be as wonderful as the act. If you’re up for it, stretch it out over a couple of days (or more if you’re feeling extra naughty).
EXPLORE A FANTASY
Maybe there is a roleplay or kink you want to try. If you have extra time, why not explore it? Make sure you communicate thoroughly beforehand. And, if there are any BDSM fantasies, do plenty of research and practice first.
GO TITANIC
Corny I know, but you can (try) to draw a sexy picture of your partner. Or, if you have zero artistic confidence, draw a silly one. Giggles are hot too.
TAKE ONLINE QUIZZES
You can’t walk five steps without tripping over some Cosmo quiz about which role play best suits you or what sexual act drives your partner wild. Go through a few – no need to take them too seriously.
PLAY AN ENDURANCE GAME
Orgasms aren’t always a needed goal. One “game” you can play is trying to drive your partner to peak, but the other person trying not to come. Or, you can try what’s called “edging” – which is getting them close and then stopping. *insert evil grin here*
FIND THE X
This one can be any pace or level of sensuality you want. Basically, draw a tiny X somewhere on your body and have your partner search for it – but it’s not a speed thing. Use lips and fingers to slowly look over every inch of skin.
BE ONE-SIDED
There’s nothing wrong with one of you relaxing while your partner gives you all the pleasure.
HAVE TANTRIC SEX
I envy people who have the patience to do this. If you’re not sure what tantric sex is, you can check out this article – it can be a simple bonding experience or something spiritual (and anything in between).
HAVE A NAKED DAY
If you’re in an environment that doesn’t need clothes, why bother? Walk around butt naked and enjoy!
TRY SHOWER SEX
Sex in water is tricky – and often unhealthy. However, shower sex is the closest thing you can have that won’t lead to an infection. Just make sure you have a non-slip mat on the floor!
EXPLORE ANAL PLAY
Anal play can be awesome (for women AND men). The two main issues are one person not being able to relax (for fear of pain) or the other person going too fast/hard and causing pain. Or, sometimes both. I always get asked how to have anal sex and despite an entire dedicated guide, people still ask for advice. The best solution – go slow and use a lake-full of lube. How slow? Like snail-slow. If you think you’re going at a good pace, slow down … then slow down more. Then check your partner … and slow down more.
DO IT IN A DIFFERENT ROOM
Bedrooms are great, but so are living rooms, kitchens, and anywhere else with a solid surface.
GET DRESSED UP
It’s tempting to walk around in your pajamas all day – god knows I do. But staying at home for long stretches, it can be nice to get back into the swing of things and wear clothes. However, you can kill two birds with one stone and get dressed up like you were going out. You can have a nice dinner, drink that wine we were talking about, or whatever other activity you wish. If you can’t get to your partner, modern life has granted us with wonderful things like Skype.
TRY MASTURBATION
You can do this on your own (re-explore your body) or do it in front of a partner. Maybe try getting each other off with just your hands (don’t forget to communicate what you like and don’t like).
ATTEMPT A STRIPTEASE
I can’t do this without falling over or looking like I’ve had two bottles of wine, but if you think you can disrobe in a sexy way while keeping a beat, go for it!
COMMUNICATE
The biggest sexual organ? The brain. Have a long talk about whatever gets your fire going.
