The story goes that one evening, in 2017, people who were expecting to turn on a new episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown, got something way different than expected – although the titles seem to be suggestive enough.
Now, before you wonder why not that many people saw it, apparently it was only localized to the Boston area. Still, someone at CNN pressed the wrong button and viewers ended up with 30 minutes of hard-core porn – completely with sloppy blow jobs and over-the-top moaning.
You would think the story ends there.
But it totally doesn’t.
The story spread like a bad rash and big outlets started to send out their own report.
The original post came from @SoLikeARose – they claimed (with a supposed screenshot) that it was Riley Quinn’s unknown parts that they saw instead.
CNN quickly responded with this, “The RCN cable operator in Boston aired inappropriate content for 30 minutes on CNN last night. CNN has asked for an explanation.”
But only a few days later, they backtracked. “We are in the process of researching this incident but see no evidence our CNN network feed was compromised last evening in Boston.”
Since then, the Twitter feed has gone private. But the woman who owns it did speak to BuzzFeed.
“People [accused] me of faking the story and creepy men sending me dick pics and sexual messages,” she said.
She told them that she had taken several photos to prove she wasn’t lying – as well as conversations with the RCN customer support agent to find out what the glitch was. . She had also posted the Tweet to see if anyone else had been affected. It seems, however, that it probably contained to that single box.
As of now, the story is labeled as “False”, but that doesn’t mean it would be an impossible event – after all, one store accidentally broadcasted porn sounds over their PA system.
What do you think? Myth or that it really happened?
