Understanding Sawzall Dildo Attachments
You might also see this product labeled “reciprocating saw dildo” – either name is correct. One is just a brand name (Sawzall is a registered trademark of Milwaukee Tool) and the other is generic – like Kleenex and tissues.
The idea is to take a compatible reciprocating saw, take off the end-bit, and screw in a replacement that creates a bridge between the thrusting mechanism and a sex toy – usually a dildo (but there are other options out there). While any decent sex machine will run you hundreds or even thousands of dollars, this simple tweak gives users an amazing thrusting toy for a fraction of the cost. AKA, an affordable sex machine hack.
However, there’s much more to it than finding what looks good or cheap and hitting the buy button. There are a few important points to keep in mind to ensure you’ll have a safe and pleasurable experience.
Read on to the next section to learn more.
Insider Tips: Getting the Most Out of Your Sex Toy Attachments
Buying Guide: Picking the Perfect Attachment
- First and foremost, make sure the saw and the attachment are compatible. Not every option at your hardware store is going to link up. And Jerry-rigging it (like we did) is not advisable.
- Make sure it’s a silicone vac-u-lock dildo – they’re non-porous and easy to keep clean.
- Don’t go super cheap – you want something strong and safe.
- Always read reviews and compare products to make sure you get a good deal and good quality.
- Metal is always better than any plastic version.
- Also, check warranty and review policies. If they don’t show anything, contact the seller.
- Get a good look at any edges. Anything too sharp might shred the inside of the sex toy as you try to remove it – therefore compromising the attachment strength and safety.
- If you also have to buy a saw, check if there are adjustable speed settings, handle grips, safety or protective guard components, the location of air vents, ease of transport, brand reputation, etc.
Usage Tips: Locking in Your Pleasure
- If you use your saw for construction, always clean it thoroughly! Makeup brushes, Q-tips, or art brushes can get the dust out of hard-to-reach places and give it a good wipe down with a damp cloth (even rubbing alcohol around the end parts).
- Use a lube injector with good quality lube. Since there’s lots of friction, you need to get the lube deep inside.
- If it’s a water-based lube, you’ll need to reapply it often.
- when you first start playing, remember to relax. The worst part is your own fear.
- Try it on the slowest setting for a few seconds and don’t go too deep. This helps the receiver get used to the sensation.
- The person holding it must pay attention to the angle of insertion (to avoid discomfort).
- Any dildo will flop all over the place when it’s outside the body and on higher levels. This won’t happen in the body, obviously. Just an FYI.
Ins & Outs – A Wild Ride Testing a Sawzall Dildo Attachment
This sex toy accessory is from trysexmachines.com, a company that specializes in adult products of high quality and power – like sex machines, magic wands, and power tool conversions. I had never touched anything like this before, so I was obviously excited to give it a whirl.
However, my experience with this attachment is rather unique. First, I don’t own this kind of saw but the owner of my Shibari rope club did. So I brought in the dildo and the attachment to see if I could at least test hooking it up and activating it.
Here’s where things went sideways.
His particular reciprocating saw wasn’t a match for the attachment (it was too short). I want to emphasize it’s not the product’s fault. It was only a bad match-up of necessity and limited options. Anyone buying their own versions won’t have this issue (as long as you make sure they’re compatible).
But I was still in luck, the owner has a well-stocked machine workshop in another room of the studio. He’s also the kind of person who doesn’t let a little thing like this get in his way of freaky sexual escapades – especially when his girlfriend was drooling to try it. So after about an hour, he came back with his own copy and we swapped out the insert. See the image below of what we ended up with.
After a bunch of playing around and handing the saw around to other people so they could press the button and watch the dildo flop around like it was attached directly to an earthquake fault line, my friend asked if he could use it on his girlfriend.
I said to him, “Look you jerry-rigged this so you’re going to know if this is safe or not. If you want to use this it’s up to you and your girlfriend and any outcome is your responsibility.”
He did a few more experiments like turning it on while someone was creating a hole with her hands and even pulling out an old masturbator and testing it on that. When he was satisfied it was safe he moved on to the fun part.
He slathered the toy and his girlfriend in a mountain of lube (yes, they’re exhibitionists).
He didn’t turn on the toy right away. Rather he moved the toy in and out manually to help her relax. Then, he turned it on low for just a couple of seconds and then immediately shut it off. In my opinion, it’s honestly the trepidation that’s the worst part for anyone. However, once she felt the first few seconds, and realized her vagina wasn’t going to come apart into sawdust, that fear went away and she welcomed the rest of the play session.
It was an amusing string of YES, slower, no FASTER, yea, OH god, F-word, etc. Plus, it was over pretty quickly LOL. That’s how powerful a toy you’re dealing with. It got a solid 5/5 from me and everyone watching, as well as a 10/5 from the girlfriend.
Discoverer More – Other Attachment Options
Here are some examples of other saw attachment systems to give you a more complete picture of what’s on the market. They all cost around 30 to 60 dollars – but there are no buy buttons because these links can change quickly. Thankfully you can just put in some of the keywords in Google to find a mountain of choices.
The Etsy Attachment
Reciprocating Saw Adapter for Doc Johnson Vac-u-Lock Products, RSA adapter
The company is called “VACULOCKS” and operates out of Wroclaw, Poland. It has already sold over 5000 of these or similar attachments – with very high user ratings. It has a slide-in tang that can be tightened if necessary. Good materials (stainless steel and aluminum) and a reasonable price. This platform has many other versions and sellers if you want to compare. Not sure what they mean by “handmade” though.
eBay Adapter
Vac-U-Lock Reciprocating Saw Adapter(Sex Machine) + 6″ Pink Glow in Dark Dildo
This is the same company out of Poland – but it’s shown as a different location. If you look closely at the two stores, you’ll see that the descriptions are identical, and this set is also sold on Etsy. There’s nothing wrong with a company selling on multiple platforms. But it’s a good lesson about shopping around and reading all the details to find out if it’s truly handmade or just from a mass-production distributor (like this one). The price is slightly higher with the silicone dildo attachment.
Amazon Adapter
Hismith: Reciprocating Saw Sex Machines and Vaccum Connector Toys
Amazon is always tricky. You’ll find good brands on there, but for some reason, the ratings are always much lower than on any main site. This attachment is made out of aluminum alloy, and the pontes from manganese steel. There is a pull-lock version as well for sex machines instead of saws. Decent ratings and design from a recognizable brand.
ExtremeRestraints Attachment
The Fucking Adapter Plus with Dildo
Even though the seller is very well-known, remember that not all products are made by them. They’re similar to Lovehoney, in that they distribute as well. The dildo is PVC (which is not a good sex toy material) and the adapter is just labeled as “metal” (but the example looks more like plastic). Doing a reverse image search, we found that over 20 sites were selling this exact set. Another good lesson in shopping around.
AliExpress Collection
Saw UV-LOCK Adapter Sex Machine, Elastic Contraction
AliExpress is a love/hate situation. You CAN find good deals but there’s so much garbage you have to sift through to find any gems. In this case, the pieces are sold separately so you can choose whatever end-point fits your sex toys. However, you’ll notice the tang ends are part of the neck, so if something snaps, you’re out of luck. The spring portions are also dubious. The saws are giving enough thrusts, why the need for something that gives less control?
Keep It Clean, Keep It Safe: Attachment Care Tips
This particular Sawzall dildo attachment is made from stainless steel and industrial-grade aluminum, so there are no issues with strength or the ability to sterilize it. I did a hot water and soap wash twice and then a 10% bleach solution dip (which I do with anything that’s been shared). It’s even better if the saw you use is ONLY for that sex toy – if it’s even an option.
Aside from washing your sex toy attachment by the posted recommendations, it’s also a good idea to dust the inside of the toy with cornstarch or talcum powder, etc. This makes the toy easier to pull off the vac-u-lock sex toy without damaging the insides – and yes, those litter suckers really hold onto the toy (hence the name). It’s even better if you can get your hands on some kind of dedicated sex toy powder.
Important!
It’s play if you need to remove any safety guards to make the attachment fit. But don’t forget to put them back on when you’re done (and plan on using the saw for actual cutting).
Got Sawzall Questions? We’ve Got Answers!
Only if you’re near a physical store. Most options are sold online.
For this example, there isn’t an included toy. But you can use any Doc Johnson option safely (especially if you stick to the silicone models).
Many Ryobi models, possibly the 18v Ozzito x or Black & Decker BDCR20C 20V Max. For anything else, you’ll need to research the specs or contact the store and ask the owner directly.
You can also buy a different attachment for a drill that makes a dildo rotate.
