10 Discreet Vibrators – Sex Toys That Don’t Look Like Sex Toys

Kids scampering around the house? Nosy relatives who love nothing more than to see how organized your closets and drawers are? Maybe there’s a dorm-mate who still scrunches their nose at anything remotely sexual.

There is also the possibility you’re still not ready to be loud and proud about that vibrating buddy that’s hidden in the bottom of your drawer or in the back of your closet.

Let’s not even get into the airport security check scenario.

In any case, your bedroom or suitcase might then turn into a possible, or accidental, Easter egg hunt for sex toys.

Solution?

Get a discreet vibrator.

The other wonderful news? There are SO many to choose from, and the ones you might think of first take their cues from things you can find in your makeup case.

1. ROCKS-OFF 10 SPEED BAMBOO BULLET ($25)

Waterproof, quiet, and disguised to look like a tube of chic lipstick.

It’s also made of ABS plastic which is as cheap as you can get for body safe materials. It’s not a bad investment, especially if you’re not sure whether you’re going to like a clit vibrator.

JUST REMEMBER: the cheaper a toy is, the more they will skimp on things like vibe strength and battery life. It’s not to say they will all be bad. Just be aware.

Similar low-cost bullets are Pocket Size Tavel Lipstick and AUQITEK Love Bullet.

2. MAKE ME OVER BODY MASSAGER ($80)

Medical grade silicone that looks like a cosmetic puff. Very cool.

The charging and storage case is also a cool plus. Upon first glance, it seems to be a toy that offers more broad stimulation rather than pin-point (just something to be wary of).

The negatives include: not whisper quiet like the manufacturer says, only a USB charger and no wall plug, and the buttons are a little stiff.

3. MY SECRET VIBRATION BRUSH ($17)

You have the entire cosmetic line here.

Very clever designs with lots of options for different sensations.

However, take caution, because buying cheaper products always runs the risk of defects or weak motors. This is more of a case if the stimulating part is farther away from the vibrating mechanism (eg. the mascara brush).

4. WINK VIBRATOR BY CRAVE  ($69)

Another one that looks like lipstick, maybe even a mascara tube.

However, despite Crave vibes being pretty well known and adored, this one comes with a fair amount of love/hate surrounding it.

AAA batteries don’t give much punch, it’s quite buzzy, there is only one speed, and no button – just a “twist to turn on” base. For a cheaper price, we can get over that, but it might be a bit much for 70 bucks.

5. WITH LOVE HEART MASSAGER  ($45)

Another one that looks like a powder compact or cute, generic case.

I will throw in a disclaimer that this MIGHT be a white label product (meaning it’s made in a factory and resold by other companies under various names.

I say this because even though most of them fall under the name “Rianne” (with the gold trim), there is another sold by Lovehoney with a silver trim and different packaging.

6. VESPER BY CRAVE ($69)

Vesper is one to try if you don’t want things that look like they came off a shelf in Sephora.

You wear the Vesper around your neck – so extra points for sexy AND stylish. Unless you meet another sex toy enthusiast, no one will have a clue.

It’s also received better reviews than its counterpart – even though it’s not a powerful motor, it’s VERY pinpoint. This will keep things on the quiet side, but allow you to have some pretty strong orgasms.

7. VIBRATING MESH SPONGE ($18)

For those who like to have fun in the shower, $18 will be worth the soapy-good times.

Just be sure the battery compartment is screwed down tight, and whatever version you get is really waterproof. The same goes if you’re going to DIY you’re own – have a WATERPROOF bullet!

Make sure to keep things clean (we hear talk about how sponges might not be that hygienic). Also, keep it in your bathroom bag and not in the open where other people might use it. Oops.

8. LEAFY VIBRATORS ($90+)

Is it just me or do these look like funky, oversized erasers? Still, love the bright colors.

Other users have compared it to WeVibe but weaker.

Made from body-safe silicone, it will be easy to leave anywhere in your bedroom or travel case. It is, however, not for power queens or those who prefer broad stimulation rather than pinpoint. You’ll also have to cycle back through the many patterns if you overstep the one you like.

9. TWENTY-ONE VIBRATING DIAMOND ($60)

This could be sitting on your coffee table or on a pile of papers and no one would have a clue.

There are rumors that it’s more “gimmicky” than anything (and lots of people claim it breaks fast and the buttons are a pain), but I would just do some more research over several sites to compare (which is what people should be doing when they buy sex toys anyway).

10. SWEET CAKES CUPCAKE VIBRATOR  ($37)

This cupcake is adorable as hell.

Even if reviewers generally don’t like the power (or the fact it’s not rechargeable or waterproof) it would be something fun for a bachelorette party.

Just make sure you take extra care to clean around the cherry and under the icing areas – remember, sex toys need extra cleaning and care and nooks and crannies often get overlooked.
